Being the dentist wasn't Dr. Vafi's original plan. She started as a dental assistant, working her way through school. Her parents inspired her to push for more, and though she doubted herself at times, their belief in her kept her going.

Dr. Vafi and her husband, Dr. Ahani, co-founded Shore View Dental together. From the very beginning, she knew she wanted to be a pediatric dentist—and she can truly say she's found her calling.

For 30 years, she's welcomed parents into the operatory, something not all pediatric dentists allow. But for her, that connection with families is what makes this job special.

Dr. Dezham is a creature of habit—family, his patients, and soccer. He and his wife, Holly, have two amazing kids, Saam and Tara, and they couldn't be prouder of them.

As a dentist, he believes in conservative, preventive care and using the latest technology to make treatment as precise and comfortable as possible. He relies on 3D imaging, CT scans, and digital scanners.

One of his favorite things to do? Invisalign®. He loves how simple, transparent, and visual the process is for his patients. They get to see their progress in real-time, and in some cases, the transformation is truly life-changing.
