Dentistry wasn't always Dr. Vafi's plan. She started as a dental assistant, working her way through school. Her parents inspired her to push for more, and though she doubted herself at times, their belief in her kept her going.

Dr. Vafi and her husband, Dr. Ahani, co-founded Shoreview Dental together. From the very beginning, she knew she wanted to be a pediatric dentist—and she can truly say she's found her calling.

For 30 years, she's welcomed parents into the operatory, something not all pediatric dentists allow. But for her, that connection with families is what makes this job special.

Dr. Mahooti approaches everything in life with dedication and precision—whether it's his patients, his training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or competitive chess. He was one of the first to train Jiu-Jitsu in the U.S.

He's completed hundreds of hours of advanced education and was teaching CAD/CAM technology before most people even knew what it was. But his true passion? Dental implants. He's placed thousands of them.

Because he specializes in both surgical placement and final restorations, he can handle the entire process from start to finish. His patients love the convenience of working with one provider.

Dr. Dezham is a creature of habit—family, his patients, and soccer. He and his wife, Holly, have two amazing kids, Saam and Tara, and they couldn't be prouder of them.

As a dentist, he believes in conservative, preventive care and using the latest technology to make treatment as precise and comfortable as possible. He relies on 3D imaging, CT scans, and digital scanners.

One of his favorite things to do? Invisalign®. He loves how simple, transparent, and visual the process is for his patients. They get to see their progress in real-time, and in some cases, the transformation is truly life-changing.
